Treatments
Which treatment fits your situation?
There are many different ways to get psychological help. Not every approach works for everyone. Below you'll find an overview of the treatments our providers offer, with an explanation of what they involve and who they're suitable for.
Not sure yet which treatment is right for you? That's not a problem. During the intake session, you and the provider will look together at what best fits your condition and personality.
Coaching
Not every question is a psychological problem. Sometimes you simply want more grip on your life, work or choices. A coach helps you get clear on what you want and how to get there.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is the most thoroughly researched therapy for mental health complaints. You learn to see the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and how to break that cycle.
COMET
COMET (Competitive Memory Training) focuses on strengthening a positive self-image by rewriting negative self-images stored in memory.
EFT. Relationship Therapy
Behind every conflict lies an attachment need. EFT helps partners see the vulnerability behind their reactions and connect with each other in a new way.
EMDR
EMDR is the most thoroughly researched treatment for trauma and is recognised by the WHO. Traumatic memories lose their overwhelming power, without you having to forget them.
Exposure in vivo
Exposure in vivo literally means exposure in real life. Step by step, you practise with the situations or triggers that cause anxiety, until that anxiety decreases on its own.
Heart coherence
Heart coherence training teaches you to regulate your heart rhythm through breathing. This calms the nervous system and effectively reduces stress.
Hypnotherapy
Limited availabilityHypnotherapy works with a relaxed, focused state of awareness to reach deeper-rooted patterns that are harder to access in regular therapy.
Imaginal exposure (IE)
Imaginal exposure helps process traumatic or fear-inducing memories by repeatedly reliving them in your imagination. The emotional charge decreases step by step.
IBCT. Relationship Therapy
IBCT (Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy) combines acceptance and change. You learn to understand your partner from their own history, rather than from frustration.
Online therapy
Therapy from your own safe environment. Online therapy has been proven just as effective as face-to-face treatment and gives you the flexibility that suits you.
Solution-focused therapy
Instead of dwelling extensively on problems, solution-focused therapy focuses on what's already working and how you can build on that. Short, practical and result-oriented.
Positive psychology
Positive psychology doesn't just focus on reducing complaints, but on strengthening what brings you to life: resilience, connection, vitality and meaning.
Psychoeducation
Understanding what's happening to you is the first step toward recovery. Psychoeducation gives you insight into your condition, how it works and how treatment helps.
Psychomotor therapy (PMT)
Body and mind are inseparably connected. PMT uses movement, body awareness and play as therapeutic tools, effective for those for whom words sometimes fall short.
Schema therapy
Early negative experiences can form schemas: deep-rooted beliefs about yourself and the world that continue to steer your life. Schema therapy helps break those patterns.
Sports psychology
Limited availabilityPerformance isn't determined by physical capacity alone. Sports psychology helps athletes develop mental skills such as focus, resilience and handling pressure.
Systemic therapy
A complaint never exists in isolation. Systemic therapy looks at the bigger picture: relationships, family, work and environment, and the patterns that play out within them.
Not sure yet which treatment is right for you?
That's completely normal. During the intake session, you and the provider will look together at what fits best. You don't need to know that in advance.
