What you pay for
You pay €195 incl. VAT to PsyIntake for arranging your intake: finding a provider who matches your concern and still has room, booking a slot that is already available, and handling it for you. You do not need a referral letter and you are not put on a waiting list.
The session itself
The intake session lasts 60 minutes. The provider does not charge you for that session: he or she conducts it without payment, because it is their introduction to a new client. An intake is a first introduction. During the session, the provider assesses whether they can help you, and then decides whether treatment follows. An intake is therefore not a promise of, or obligation to, further treatment.
Follow-up treatment
If you decide to continue after the intake, you and the provider arrange that between yourselves. If he or she has a contract with your health insurer and you have a referral letter from your GP, that treatment is covered by your insurance as usual, subject to your own risk. If not, the provider sets their own rate. PsyIntake plays no role in the invoicing of treatment sessions and receives nothing from them.
