After booking you receive a confirmation email. Before the appointment, your practitioner emails you the video link for your session. At the agreed time you click that link and you are instantly connected with the practitioner. The session typically lasts 60 minutes.
What do I need for an online intake?
A computer, tablet or smartphone with camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. No special software is needed, most platforms work directly in your browser.
Are online intakes also available for people outside cities?
Yes, that's precisely the main advantage. You can choose from all practitioners on PsyIntake who work online, regardless of where you or they are located in the Netherlands. This dramatically expands your options.
Is an online intake less effective than in person?

Can I switch to in-person sessions later?
